Global markets crude price this week surged

NEW YORK: Global market crude price this week kept surging, while it was seen pegged at $51 per barrel.

During trading in the New York market, US crude April contracts closed at $51.06 per barrel, while on Thursday the news relating to Federal Reserves pumping $1150 billion into the financial system spurred crude price to soar at $52.25 per barrel, which is the highest since November 2008. However, the crude price on Friday was seen mellowed down by 55 cents.

On the other hand, London Brent North Sea May contract wrapped up at $51.22 per barrel.
